Download and keep synced MySQL database into Android SQLite database

I'm trying to create an Android application that will let the user download and keep synced (everytime the app starts) a MySQL database into a SQLite database file, so that the app will access data faster and without using internet as much as keeping synced to the MySQL database. Is there any way to do this, if so, could you please show me how (possibily with code examples)? Thank you very much in advange.
