share and update database with same app in other devices

My app creates a sqLite db. I want to offer a pro version where user can 'link' with another user(s) and the database in both devices will be synchronized. I guess Google GCM is the way to go but don´t really know. Db is small, so no need for the most efficient implementation, just the simpler approach. What is the way to do it?
