App crashes when inserting data into a SQLite database

I have a question on Xamarin Cross Platform Development. I'm trying to implement a SQLite Database to my project and stuck very closely to the <a href = "http://ift.tt/1KXqIOY"> Todo </a href> sample given by Xamarin. The application builds without errors, but everytime I try to insert an entry into the database, when the application is running in the Android Player the app crashes. Does anyone know why this occurs and how to fix it?
