What type of database should I use for android mopile app that connecting to android wearable smartwatch

I'm new in programming android app,

The mobile application will be connecting to the android wearable smartwatch(when user login in mobile he can find his information, also when he login in the smartwatch he can find the same information)

I'm confusing what database should I use? is local database will work? like SQLite?
