How merge data from sqlite-wal to sqlite (synchronization) in objective-c

Can I update sqlite file (done synchronization) in some place of code (iOS)? I saw that it could be done by PRAGMA checkpoint but I couldn't do it. I work with sqlite file from Core data. Could some body help me in this questions? Thanks!
