How to create an Android widget with options?

I'm developing widgets for my note application.

What I want to archive:

1. Long click on home screen to open widget dialog
2. Select the note application widget
3. Allow users to choose a list of notes available stored in Sqlite
4. Display the widget with selected note content.

I can display simple widget to show simple message I want, but what I want to do is allow users to select a specify note from a list of notes to be the content of the widget. I have hard times finding the related resources, if you know certain search keyword, let me know and I'll do the research my own.
