How to read form database

Help please

I need a help please I want to know how you can read data from the database on sqlite 3 or how you can print something form a text file. I tried to look for the code on many websites but i didn't find how to read from a database just how to connect to the database if someone know how to read from a database on sqlite 3 please help.
