Connecting Sqlite database to WatchKit app in Xcode7 using Swift

My first SO question, so be kind :D I've built an Sqlite database in Xcode7 and I want to connect it to my WatchKit application (via the WatchKit extension running on an iPhone) using Swift/Swift2 to be able to bring back results to populate an array.
How would I do this? If anyone has any tools, techniques or resources they can suggest to help me, that would be great.
