Normalize data in excel before importing it sqlite database

I am new to android development. My project is routine app for students. For this i need data from my college to be used in my application. However, currently the data is store in excel.

So, i want to know if there is a way to normalize the data before importing it to database.

Also, my college should be able to update the routine. Should try to work with the current file system or develop a back-end for college (in php) and use data from it in my application.
