Sqlite accented characters won't display correctly

I'm currently working on an Android app. I'm having trouble with my sqlite database.

To create my database, I just run the sqlite3.exe command "database.db < database.sql". My sql file was created with notepadd++ and encoded in UTF8.

When I launch SQLiteBrowser, I can see the accented characters. But, when I open the sqlite3 command prompt and type "select * from mytable", accented characters are not recognized...

Finally, I load my database in my android app, I have the same issue. So I'm assuming that there is a problem when I created my database since my "select * from" command doesn't display special chars.

I was looking for an answer but I couldn't find it...

If anybody have a clue of what this issue is, please tell me.
