Using persistencejs with sencha touch

I'm planing to use sencha touch with sqlite (spatialite) and cordova sqlite plugin, but i have not found any examples of this combination, i think that coupling extjs models with an ORM like persistencejs, then let the ORM parse model objects into sqllite queries is a good idea. is there any hidden constraintes in this combination ?
