Adding a new murmur channel programmatically on a linux back-office

I would like to assign a channel on Murmur to each taxi driver using my app so that users may contact them on their own specific channel. The channels could be created when the taxi driver registers and so the channel creation might be done either on the iOS app or on the php back-office. I installed sqliteadmin and accessed the murmur DB through it. I even managed to manually enter a new channel, but the mumble iOS app does not see it; I even tried to restart murmur to no avail, I just see root. On its part an installation of phpMumbleAdmin is not able to get to the server table complaining of a 'php-ICE module not found', so I do not even know if I managed to correctly enter the channel.

Is there a specific procedure to manually enter a new channel in the mumble sqlite DB (I just touched the channels table, I do not know if other tables need to be adjusted consequently) or any other way to do it by php.

Thanks, Fabrizio
