Android SQLite backup

I've done an application for writing and store notes in a SQLite database . I want to store the content of the database on cloud, using the APIs of Google, in particular I followed this tutorial: http://ift.tt/LMkumS

After the registration and after adding the code in the manifest, I have no idea how to proceed, there is a complete tutorial? I also see this answer but I can't understand how to proceed.
