Searching for records in sqlite database based on query or string android

I am developing one Android application.Where i created one virtual table and inserted some records.My requirement is i want to pass one string to that previously created table.if string is there in that particular records it should returns records who having the that particular string i am passing.please guys send me some logic for that.
