How can use boolean in android?

I'm working in android rent cars app for client ,i want to create field in my sqlite database as a boolean when the client select ok button boolean field change from 0 to 1 . and I will use this field for report rented cars .. I want to add on one table all cars rented and unrented but the value of boolean field for rented cars is 1 and for other is 0 ... when the client click ok button for rent a car field change from 0 to 1 ...
