c# selcet form list and add to wishlist, session

I have data (product) displayed in lable list of various products with a button named as "add to wshlst" and on click this button should store product in table wish list. And button changes from " add to wish " to " my wish list" or "remove form wish list". Can someone explain how to make that. Is necessary to use session?
