Insert into Sqlite in Windows phone 8.1 is very slow compare to Android

I am doing insertion of ¬1000 records in a single user action. It takes ¬150 seconds. Same application I have developed in Android which takes less than 30 seconds for the same task.

Same performance is happening in Emulator and Windows Phone 8.1 Device.

What could be the cause to make this task slow.? What else I can do(or give it a try) to make my app faster in this case. ?
