Making an Android offline Dictionary

I want to make and offline dictionary application for android which includes both server and client side. on the server side the client have to upload the words for the dictionary and categories like noun,verb etc. So the problem is that how can I download the database into the client side android application. or is there anyway to get the sql database and sync it with SQLite database inside the applicaiton. can anyone help me with code snippets or example links .Thankyou
