SimPholders alternative for Android? Accessing data folder

I need to access SQLite database of an app I am currently working on. There is a very simple tool for this purpose on iOS, called SimPholders2.

Do you know if there is any alternative to this useful tool? I know you can access data folder using terminal / Android Monitor, but it never worked for me, since the devices we have in the office are not rooted.
