Is it possible to select icons from the spinner?

In my android app,I need to allow users to add their own category,for that I need to design interface which will allow the user to enter their own category type and let them to select the icons related to their category from the spinner.

How can I have the set of icon inside the spinner and How can I store those selected icons to the Sqlite database?
