Is there any good tutorial for sync android sqlite with server databse using custom sync

In my app i want to sync my local sqlite database with server database using custom sync . I want some sort of method which can get new data from your server and refresh the mobile content to reflect the content of the server. I also want to notify the server whenever you make local changes to content and want to reflect those changes. Can anyone suggest me some good tutorials.
