Sqlite change data type in android

could anybody tell me how i can change the data type in android with sqlite ? Would be very nice !

For example: I want to change table diary this: diary_content varchar(2000)

to TEXT

I want to get ride of varchar(2000) and change it in an existing database !

Is is possible ?
