How to create a database on Android (Android Studio) [on hold]

I'm trying to create a database SQLite on Android Studio for a test app. The problem is that when I try to execute an Insert or a Select on it, it doesn't work. Can someone please help me, explaining me how to do it step by step or show me a bit of code that works in order to do that?
