How would you create a database to be used in python with sqlite?

I am an A-level student creating an "Enterprise Passport" application for my school for my project. It is a report creating application for students used by teachers that will store the reports of every student.

I'm fairly adequate at both Python and SQL and know the language very well for both, however I would like to know how I would go about storing the reports in a database and use sqlite in python to manage and query the database.
