After update sqlite version could

I was using "sqlite" 3.4.2 to compile source code, now I was told to update version to 3.9.2 for better security issue. But after that, I try to compile it, but it failed.

It wrote "sqlite3.c:(.text+0x377e): undefined reference to `___sync_synchronize'" on the console. Any idea what is possibly cause this issue. Since I do not use any method "sync_synchronize" in my code.
