using Mysql database with android or converting Mysql to Sqlite

I have made a small java program which I made a small MySQL database, now I am implementing the program to android plat form, I was wondering if it is possible to use the same database I filled using MySQL, or if there is a way to use it with SQLite? that would save me a lot of time!
