Count Managers and directs - SQL

I need help regarding a SQL query for my report which will show:

Managers (count) and the number of directs (count) which they have.

Example:

2 Managers have 5 directs 5 Managers have 10 directs

Like this:
Managers, Direct
1,            1
2,            5
5,            10
10,           11
12,           22

The data base has follwing fields:

EmplID, Last Name, First Name, SupervisorID, Superv Last Name, Superv First name.
