Importing a Sqlite Database in Javascript

Okay I have a class project that I need some help with. I'm creating an app where it allows the user to create a profile and create events once they've registered. It's going to be done using HTML5/CSS and Javascript. For my database I'm using Sqlite. I'm new to this programming so this may be a simple question but, how do I import the Sqlite database that I've created into my javascript code? I would like to end up being able to submit the whole form when the user clicks the Submit button. I just can't figure out how to import the database to be able to call the information stored in it... Again I understand this may be a simple question, but unfortunately for me I've had 1 programming class so far and it definitely did not help me with importing/using/manipulating database...
